Perth Scorchers  vs Brisbane Heat

       In front of the 32,583 cricket fans the unbeaten Brisbane Heat made the trip over West to take on the Perth Scorchers here at Optus Stadium ,the 2 skippers Aaron Hardie and Nathan McSweeney made their way to the centre for the toss and it was Scorcher skipper Aaron Hardie  that called it and elected to bat putting the Brisbane Heat out in the 41` c heat .Coming out to open for the Perth Scorchers is Stephen Eskinazi and Sam Whiteman ,while the new ball was thrown to Michael Neser and Xavier Bartlett .On the second ball of the day it Stephen Eskinazi that made his intentions known when he hit Michael Neser for a six straight over long on .This partnership ended when the Scorchers were 0/19 and Stephen Eskinazi was out caught off the bowling of Spencer Johnson for 12 runs off his 13 balls ,the Perth Scorchers are now 1/19 ,the next batter to the crease is the skipper Aaron Hardie ,unfortunately this partnership last for 6 balls before Sam Whiteman was out caught off the bowling of Michael Neser for 7 runs off his 8 balls ,the Scorchers are now 2/25.The next batter to the crease is Josh Inglis ,11 balls later it was the Scorchers skipper Aaron Hardie who out caught off the bowling of Michael Neser ,the Scorchers are now 3/35 .Laurie Evans is the next batter to take centre ,this partnership added 14 runs to the total before Josh Inglis was out cleaned bowled by Matt Kuhnemann for 5 runs off his 8 balls in the ninth over ,the Perth Scorchers are 4/49 and its not looking good ,the new batter to the crease is Cooper Connolly ,this partnership added 24 runs to the total before Laurie Evans was out caught off the bowling of Paul Walter for 26 runs off his 22 balls ,the Scorchers are now 5/83 .Nick Hobson is the next batter to the crease and together with Cooper Connolly took the total to 111 before Cooper Connolly was out caught for 35 well made runs of his 25 balls ,the Perth Scorchers are now 6/111 in the 16^th over .Ashton Agar is the new batter to the crease and over the next 4 over’s this partnership added 52 runs to the total. The better batter for the Perth Scorchers was Nick Hobson who hit 48 runs, while Cooper Connolly (35) and Laurie Evans (26), the better bowler for the Heat was Michael Neser (20) while the other bowlers picked up a wicket apiece.

                 The Brisbane Heat opening batters Josh Brown and Jimmy Pierson made their way to the crease, while the Perth Scorcher opening bowlers Aaron Hardie and Jason Behrendorff got the new ball ,this partnership had little trouble with the Scorcher bowlers until in the seventh over when Josh Brown was out caught by Ashton Agar of the bowling of  Lance Morris for 29 runs off his 22 balls ,the Heat are now 1/55.The new batter to the crease is Nathan McSweeney ,this partnership lasted for 2 over’s before Nathan McSweeney was out caught behind off Andrew Tye for 3 runs off his 9 balls ,the Heat are now 2/67 .The next batter to the crease is Matt Renshaw ,this partnership added 15 runs before Matt Renshaw was out caught behind  off the bowling of Jason Behrendorff for 1 run off 8 balls ,the Brisbane heat are now 3/82 in the 13^th over .Max Bryant is the new batter to make his way to the crease ,this partnership lasted for 3 balls before before Jimmy Pierson was out caught off the bowling of Ashton Agar for 42  runs off his 41 balls faced ,the Heat are now 4/84 in the 13^th over .Coming out to the centre is Paul Walter ,together this partnership added 16 runs before Paul Walter is out caught off the bowling of Lance Morris the Heat are now 5/100.Michael Neser is the new batter to the crease ,he faces up to Lance Morris and is out caught behind for a Golden Duck ,the Brisbane Heat are 6/100 .Xavier Bartlett is the next batter to take centre ,the Heat are now starting to struggle as their recognized batters are all back in the dugout ,this partnership added 24 runs to the total before Max Bryant went lbw to Aaron Hardie for 29 runs off his 17 balls ,the Brisbane Heat are 7/124 .Mitchell Swepson .3 balls later it was Mitch Swepson who was heading back to the dugout after being caught off the bowling of Andrew Tye for 4 runs off his 3 balls .Coming out to face the last ball of the innings is Matt Kuhnemann who went for a Golden Duck after being caught off the bowling of Andrew Tye,the Brisbane Heat are all out for 128 runs. The better of the Brisbane Heat batters is Jimmy Pierson who hit 42 runs while Josh Brown and Max Bryant who made 29 runs apiece, the better bowler for the Perth Scorchers was AJ Tye for getting 4 wickets, with the Wild Child Lance Morris getting 3 wickets while Hardie (1), Behrendorff (1) and Agar (1).
