Perth Scorchers  vs  Sydney Thunder

The Perth Scorcher + Sydney Thunder captains went out on ground and in front of 27,400 cricket fans  they did the batflip ,it was Callum Ferguson that called it and sent the Scorchers into bat .Scorcher duo Liam Livingstone and Jason Roy made their way out to the crease. Sydney Thunder Nathan McAndrew was thrown the new ball ,after the first 2 overs the partnership of Scorchers Jason Roy and Liam Livingstone take the total to 12 runs .On the first ball of the third over Liam Livingstone is out caught by Sam Billings of the bowling of Brendan Doggett for 3 runs ,the Scorchers are now 1/12 .The new batter to come to the crease is Colin Munro unfortunately this partnership only lasted 5 balls before Jason Roy was caught by Sam Billings of the bowling of Brendan Doggett for 14 runs ,the Scorchers are now 2/18.Josh Inglis is the incoming batter to join Colin Munro ,this partnership put on 43 runs over the next 6 overs before Josh Inglis was cleaned bowled for 20 runs off the bowling of Brendan Doggett ,the Scorchers are 3/61 in the tenth over .The next batter to come to the crease is Mitch Marsh ,this partnership lasted for 3 over’s before Mitch Marsh was caught by Chris Green of the bowling of Brendan Doggett for 15 runs ,the Scorchers are now 4/86,Scorcher skipper Ashton Turner is the next batter to come and join Colin Munro who over the next 4 overs this partnership added a much needed 55 runs ,in the 17 th over Ashton Turner was caught by Tanveer Sangha  off the bowling of Nathan McAndrew for 31 well earned runs ,the Scorchers are now 5/141.Aaron Hardie is the next batter to make his way to the crease to join Colin Munro ,2 over’s later Colin Munro was walking back to the dugout after being caught by Sam Billings off the bowling of Ben Cutting for 50 runs off 41 balls ,the Scorchers are now 6/154 in the 18 th over ,Jhye Richardson is the new batter to come out and join Aaron Hardie and over the 2 remaining overs this pair added 29 runs to take the Scorcher total to 185 run. Jhye Richardson remained 20 not out with Aaron Hardie on 19 not out .Colin Munro was the best batter for the Scorchers adding 50 runs in 41 balls ,Brendan Doggett was the best bowler for the Sydney Thunder taking  4/22 off his 4 overs .

Sydney Thunder openers Usman Kawaja and Alex Hales made their way out to the crease at Optus stadium to face up to Scorcher opening quick Jhye Richardson .The Thunder openers had little trouble with the Scorcher bowlers taking the total to 30 runs , in the 3 rd over Usman Kawaja was out caught by Josh Inglis off the bowling of Jhye Richardson for 26 runs ,the Thunder are now 1/30 .Thunder skipper Callum Ferguson is the next batter but 5 balls later he was heading back to the pavillion after being caught by Andrew Tye of the bowling of Jason Brehendorff, the Thunder are now 2/30 ,Sam Billings was the next batter to join Alex Hales ,2 overs later Alex Hales was caught for 5 runs of the bowling of Jason Brehendorff ,the Thunder are now 3/45 .Incoming batter is Alex Ross who lasted 1 ball before being run out for a Duck ,the Thunder are now 4/46.Ben Cutting is the new batter to come out and join Sam Billings who over the next 9 overs added this partnership added 72 runs and didn’t look like getting out ,but then in Cricket anything can happen and it was Ben Cutting who was out caught by Liam Livingstone off the bowling of Andrew Tye for 31 runs ,the Thunder are now 5/129 in the 15th over .The new batter is Nathan McAndrew ,this partnership lasted for only 5 balls before Nathan McAndrew was out caught by Liam Livingstone for 4 runs ,the Thunder are now 6/134 .Chris Green is the incoming batter and this partnership added 21 runs before Chris Green was out caught off the bowling of Mitch Marsh for 7 runs,Sydney Thunder are now 7/155 ,Adam Milne came out to join Sam Billings but this partnership lasted 7 runs before Sam Billings was out after being cleaned bowled by Andrew Tye for 83 runs ,the Sydney Thunder are now 8/162 in the 18th over .Brendan Doggett came out to the crease to join Adam Milne this partnership lasted 5 balls before Adam Milne was caught by Fawad Ahmed off the bowling of Jhye Richardson ,the Thunder are now 9/164 .The incoming batter is Tanveer Sangha ,this partnership added 4 runs before Brendan Doggett was cleaned bowled by Jhye Richardson for 5 runs ,the Thunder are all out for 168 runs .The Perth Scorchers win by 17 runs ,the stand out bowler for the Scorchers was Jhye Richardson  who ended up taking 4/24 off his 4 overs ,the other wickets were shared around between Jason Brehendorff ,Andrew Tye and Mitch Marsh .The best batter for the Thunder was Sam Billings who made 83 runs off 48 balls .
