        The Womens National Cricket league made its way to the WACA with the West Australian women taking on the ACT Meteors ,the skippers West Aussie Chloe Piparo and Meteors skipper Angela Reakes made their way out to the centre for the coin toss ,Meteors skipper Angela Reakes called it and decided to bat .West Aussie bowler Tanele Peschel was thrown the new ball while the Meteor batters  Katie Mack and Erica Kershaw made their way out to take centre .Together these batters batted thru’ the 11 overs until at the start of the 12 th over the pair went for a run ,but due to a misunderstanding Erica Kershaw was run out for 19 runs ,the Meteors are now 1/49 . Erin Osborne is the new batter to come out and join Katie Mack, this partnership lastedfor 6 overs  until Katie Mack was out stumped off the bowling of Emma King ,the Meteors are now 2/72,Angela Reakes made her way out to join Erin Osborne but 2 overs later Angela Reakes was making her way back to the pavillion after being caught off the bowling of Emma King for 1 run ,the Meteors are now 3/78 .Madeline Penna is the next batter to join Erin Osborne ,these two batters over the next 11 overs took to the West Aussie bowlers adding 62 runs before Erin Osborne was out caught off the bowling of Emma King for 42 runs .The new batter is Olivia Porter who made her way to join Madeline Penna ,this partnership only lasted 6 overs before Olivia Porter was caught off the bowling of Nicole Bolton for 1 run ,the Meteors are now 5/149 ,Carly Leeson is the next batter to make her way out to the crease ,this partnership only lasted for 1 run before Carly Leeson was out Lbw to Piepa Cleary for a Duck ,the Meteors are now 6/150 in the 38 th over .Nicola Hancock is the new batter to make her way out to take centre and join Madeline Penna who over the next 12 overs saw the Meteors take control and go on to take the total to 275 runs ,Madeline Penna ended up on 118 runs not out ,during her fine innings she never offered a chance ,in the 125 run partnership Nocla Hancock ended up 48 not out .Emma King was the better of the West Aussie bowlers picking up 3/26 while Cleary and Bolton got a wicket a piece .

WA batters Ashley Day and West Aussie skipper Chloe Piparo came out to open the West Aussie innings ,Meteors bowler Nicola Hancock was thrown the new ball ,the opening batters took the score 38 runs before Ashley Day was given Lbw of the bowling off Zoe Cooke  for 15 runs ,WA are now 1/38 in the 8 th over,Nicole Bolton is the incoming batter to come and join Chloe Piparo who together added 11 runs before Bolton was out Lbw to Erin Osborne for 6 runs ,WA are now2/49 .The next batter to make her way out is keeper Megan Banting this partnership wasn’t meant to last as there was a communication problem ending up with Megan Banting being run out for 4 runs ,WA are now 3/57,Mathilda Carmichael is the new batter to come out and join the skipper Chloe Piparo, over the 11 next overs this pair appeared to give the home team a chance ,they added 60 runs for their partnership but unfortunately  Mathilda Carmichael was out caught  off the bowling of Anglea Reakes for 33 valuable runs ,WA are now 4/117.Amy Edgar is the next batter to come out and join skipper Piparo this partnership only lasted 2 overs before  Amy Edgar was backing up when the bowler deflected the ball into the stumps andAmy Edgar was  run out for 5 runs ,WA are now 5/125 ,Piepa Cleary came out to join Chloe Piparo ,this partnership lasted 8 overs before Piepa Cleary was out caught of the off the bowling of Erin Osborne for 18 runs ,WA are now 6/169 in the 37th over chasing another 106 runs in the next 13 overs.The new batter to make her way out is Alana King who joined with Piparo to add 28 runs to the total before Alana King was out caught off the bowling of Nicole Hancock for 19 runs ,WA are now 7/197 in the 42^nd over .The next batter to take centre is Taneale Peschel this partnership didn’t last as the skipper Chloe Piparo was out caught off the bowling of Erin Osborne for a well made 74 runs,WA are now in trouble,the new batter is Emma King this partnership only lasted 13 balls before Emma King was out caught and bowled off the bowling of Nicola Hancock for 8 runs ,Western Australia are now all out for 211 runs in 45.2 overs ,the ACT Meteors win by 64 runs ,Chloe Piparo was the best of the WA batters getting 74 runs with Mathilda Carmichael backing up with 33 runs .The better bowler for the Meteors was Erin Osborne picking up 3 wickets ,Nicola Hancock getting 2 wickets.
