      The South Australian Scorpions came to the WACA to take on the Western Australian women  ,the Scorpions who are sitting at 6^th in the comp while the West Aussies are bottom of the ladder and winless ,Scorpions skipper Tegan McPharlin along with West Aussie skipper Chloe Piparo made their way out to the centre of the ground for the coin toss ,it was Tegan McPharlin that called it and elected to bat .West Aussie bowler Taneale Peschel was thrown the new ball while the Scorpion openers Bridget Patterson and Emma De Broughe made there way out to the crease ,these 2 batters added to the Scorpion total to take them to 0/22 in after 6 overs ,then in the 7^th over  there  was a misunderstanding and Emma De Broughe wasn’t quick enough and was caught short ,she was out for 5 runs ,the Scorpions are now 1/24.The new batter is Josie Dooley and together with Bridget Patterson over the next 15 over’ put together a 66 run partnership to take the Scorpions to 90 runs before Josie Dooley was caught in front and given out Lbw off the bowling of Nicole Bolton for 32 runs ,the Scorpions are now 2/90 ,Courtney Webb is the incoming batter to make her way to the crease and together put on a 93 run partnership before Courtney Webb mistimed a shot and was out caught of the bowling of Taneale Peschel  for 51 well made runs ,the Scorpions are now 3/183 in the 39^th over .The next batter to the crease is Jemma Barsby ,unfortunately this partnership didn’t last long as 3 over’s later Jemma Barsby was heading back to the pavilion after being caught off the bowling of Taneale Peschel for 9 runs ,the SA Scorpions are now 4/202 , Amanda Wellington is the new batter to come out and join Bridget Patterson who was seeing the ball really well and looking to get a century ,together  these  batters took the total to 220 runs before Bridget Patterson was out caught off the bowling of Piepa Cleary for 103 runs ,the Scorpions are now 5/220 ,keeper and Scorpion skipper is the next batter to make her way out to take centre .This partnership only lasted 6 balls before the skipper was out caught off the bowling of Nicole Bolton for a Duck ,the Scorpions are now 6/224 with 2 overs left to play ,Samantha Betts is the incoming batter ,but his partnership was all over in 3 balls as Amanda Wellington was out caught and bowled off the bowling of Nicole Bolton for 11 runs ,the Scorpions are now 7/225 .Alex Price is the incoming batter to join Samantha Betts ,with 2 overs remaining these 2 batters added 26 runs to the total for the Scorpions to get 251 runs off their 50 overs .Bridget Patterson was the stand out batter for the Scorpions getting her 103 runs ,as was Courtney Webb’s knock of 51 runs added to the Scorpions total .The stand out bowler for the West Aussie women was Nicole Bolton who took 3/33 off her 10 overs ,Taneale Peschel chipped in with getting 2/56 .

West Aussie openers Chloe Piparo and Ashley Day made their way out to the centre to face up to SA Scorpion opening bowler Brooke Harris ,the WA openers put on 20 runs before WA skipper Chloe Piparo was out caught off the bowling of Brooke Harri  for16 runs ,WA are now 1/20 ,the new batter to make her way out is Nicole Bolton who with Ashley Day added 8 runs to the total before Ashley Day was out caught off the bowling of Samantha Betts for 4 runs the WA women are now 2/28 .WA keeper Megan Banting is the new batter to join Nicole Bolton ,these  2 batters put on 29 runs before Megan Banting was out caught off the bowling of spinner Jemma Barsby for 6 runs ,WA are now 3/57 in the 13^th over .The new batter to come out is Mathilda Carmichael and with Nicole Bolton added 20 runs before Nicole Bolton edged a ball thru’ to the keeper and was out caught behind  off the bowling of Eliza Doddridge 36 runs,WA are now 4/77 and looking good .Amy Edgar is the incoming batter to come out and join Mathilda Carmichael ,these 2 batters added 26 runs to the total before Mathilda Carmichael was out caught off the bowling of Eliza Doddridge for 24 runs ,WA are now 5/103 .The new batter to the crease is Piepa Cleary and with Amy Edgar took the total to 124 before Piepa Cleary hit 1 back to the bowler and was out caught and bowled for 7 runs ,WA are now 6/124.Alana King is the next batter to the crease ,this partnership lasted 7 balls before Alana King was out caught off the bowling of Amanda Welington for 3 runs ,WA are now 7/127 in the 30^th over .Taneale Peschel is the new batter to take centre and together with Amy Edgar put together a partnership of 46 well made runs ,unfortunately Amy Edgar’s inning has come to an end after being caught off  the bowling of Brooke Harris for 49 runs ,WA are now 8/173 in the 39^th over and still have a chance .Emma King makes her way to the crease to join Taneale Peschel ,but another misunderstanding see’s Emma King heading back to the pavilion after being run out for 5 runs ,WA are now 9/180 and in deep trouble .Sheldyn Cooper made her way to the crease to join Tanela Peschel  ,Sheldyn Cooper was beaten by a better ball and was given out Lbw to Brooke Harris for a Duck Western Australia are all out for 181 runs loosing to the SA Scorpions by 70 runs .Amy Edgar was the star for the WA team with the bat getting 49 runs ,with teamates Nicole Bolton and Taneale Peschel chipping in with their totals of 36and 24 run .Brooke Harris was the best of the SA Scorpion bowlers taking 3/41 ,the other Scorpion bowlers also each picking up wickets

Player of the match went to Bridget Patterson for her well made innings of 103 runs.
