The 2023-24 WNCL champions have come to the WACA to take on the WA women ,the 2 skippers Chloe Piparo and Elyse Villani made their way out to the centre for the coin toss and it was WA’s Chloe Piparo the won it and decided to bat putting the Tassie Tigers into the field .Coming out to open for the WA women are skipper Chloe Piparo and Maddy Darke while Hayley Silver Holmes and Molly Strano were thrown the new ball ,the openers added 19 runs before WA skipper Chloe Piparo  was out caught of the bowling of Callie Wilson for 7 runs off her 9 balls ,WA are now 1/19 .Bhavisha Devchand is the incoming batter to join Maddy Darke ,this partnership added 60 runs to the total before Bhavi  Devchand went lbw to Maisy Gibson after hitting 26 runs off her 34 balls ,WA are now 2/79 .The next batter to the crease is Mathilda Carmichael ,this partnership added 10 runs before Maddy Darke was cleaned bowled for a well made 39 runs off her 47 balls ,Western Australia are now 3/89 .Mikayla Hinkley is the incoming batter to join Mathilda Carmichael ,this partnership added 33 runs to the total before Mathilda Carmichael was out caught off the bowling of Callie Wilson for 27 runs ,WA are now 4/121 .The next batter to the crease is Lisa Griffith ,this partnership added 29 runs before Lisa Griffith was out stumped off the bowling of Maisy Gibson for 9 runs of her 22 balls faced ,WA are now 5/150 in the 31st over .Chloe Ainsworth is the new batter to the crease but unfortunately she only managed 1 run off her 3 balls faced ,WA are now 6/153 .Lilly Mills is the new batter to the crease to join Mikayla Hinkley ,this partnership added 25 runs before Lilly Mills was out after being cleaned bowled by Molly Strano ,WA are now 7/178 in the 36th over .Zoe Britcliffe is the batter to the crease this partnership added 29 runs to the total , after adding 62 runs  Mikayla Hinkley played at a ball and was out caught off the bowling of Nicola Carey ,WA are now 8/207 .Charis Bekker is the incoming batter ,unfortunately this partnership added only 1 run before Charis Bekker was cleaned bowled by Heather Graham ,Western Australia are now 9/208 .Shay Manolini is the new batter to the crease ,this partnership added 7 runs to the total before Zoe Britcliffe  was out caught off the bowling of Heather Graham for 14 runs off 24 balls faced ,Western Australia are all out for 215 runs off 45.3 over’s ,WA with the bat had 4 players that stood out ,Mikayla Hinkley getting 62 runs ,Maddy Darke (39) ,Bhavi Devchand (26) and Mathilda Carmichael (27). For the Tassie Tigers the wickets were spread around.

    Coming out to open for the Tassie Tigers are skipper Elyse Villani and Emma Manix Geeves while the new ball was thrown to Charis Bekker and Chloe Ainsworth .The Tigers played out the 1st over just adding 3 runs ,at the start of the 2 nd over it was Junior Vilani that was heading back to the pavilion after going lbw to Chloe Ainsworth for 3 runs ,the Tigers are now 1/3 ,coming out to join Emma is Nicola Carey ,over the next 10 over’s this partnership added 33 runs to the total before Emma Manix Geeves  was out caught off the bowling of Zoe Britcliffe for 13 runs off 28 balls faced ,the Tassie Tigers are 2/36. Coming out to join Nicola Carey is Heather Graham, this partnership added 14 runs, unfortunately Nicola Carey played at a ball and missed and was out bowled for 21 runs off her 39 balls faced, the Tassie Tigers are now 3/50 .The next batter to the crease is Naomi Stalenburg and over the next 8 over’s this partnership added 39 runs until Heather Graham was out caught off the bowling of Chloe Ainsworth for 23 runs off 28 balls faced ,the Tassie Tigers are now 4/89 .Ruth Johnston is the new batter to the crease  and over the next few over’s this partnership added 13 runs to the total before Naomi Stalenburg was caught in front and was out lbw to Shay Manolini for 33 runs off 28 balls faced ,the Tassie Tigers are now 5/102 .Coming out to the crease is Molly Strano and together with Ruth Johnston they added 19 runs to the total before Ruth Johnston was  out caught off the bowling of Lilly Mills for 14 runs ,Tasmania are now 6/121 in the 27th over .Lauren Smith is the new batter to the crease and over the next 5 over’s this pair added 29 runs to the Tigers total ,unfortunately Lauren Smith played at a ball and went lbw to Chloe Ainsworth for 8 runs off 18 balls faced ,the Tigers are now 7/150 .Hayley Silver-Holmes is the next batter to take centre ,5 balls later Molly Strano was out after being cleaned bowled by Chloe Ainsworth for 23 runs off 23 balls faced ,Tasmania are now 8/155 in the 33rd over .Maisy Gibson is the next batter to take centre and over the next 14 overs with Hayley Silver Holmes took the total to 214 ,unfortunately Hayley Silver Holmes played at a ball from Mathilda Carmichael and was out caught ,the Tigers are now 9/214 .Callie Wilson is the next batter to the crease the Tigers only need 2 runs to win so it was Maisy Gibson that hit the winning run ,Tasmianian Tigers win by 1 wicket in the 48th over with 9 balls remaining ,the stand out batters for the Tigers are Naomi Stalenburg (33),Hayley Silver Holmes(31).Maisy Gibson(30) and Heather Graham (23) .For Western Australia the better bowler was Chloe Ainsworth who took 4 wickets .
