Perth Scorchers vs Brisbane Heat

               The Scorchers and the Heat are to to battle to be the contender against the Adelaide Strikers ,the two skippers Sophie Devine and Jess Jonasen make their way to the centre for the Bat flip ,it was Jess Jonassen who called it and elected to bat .Coming out to open for the Brisbane Heat is Grace Harris and Georgia Redmayne ,while Amy Edgar and Chloe Ainsworth were thrown the new ball .The Heat openers had little trouble with Scorcher’s bowling as they were hitting boundaries at will until in the 7^th over it was Grace Harris that played at a ball and missed and was given out Lbw for a well made 54 runs off 33 balls ,the Heat are now 1/69.Making her way out to the crease is Amelia Kerr ,this partnership over the next 9 balls added 8 runs before Georgia Redmayne played at a ball from Alana King ,missed and went Lbw for 11 runs off 15 balls ,the Heat are now 2/77 in the 8^th over .Mignon du Preez is the new batter and together this partnership added 47 runs before Amelia Kerr was out caught of the bowling of Natalie Sciver-Brunt for 31 runs off 23 balls ,the Heat are now 3/124.Laura Harris is the incoming batter to join Mignon du Preez ,9 balls later it was Mignon du Preez that was heading back to the pavilion after being caught out off the bowling of Alana King for a well made 26 runs off 20 balls the Heat are now 4/136.Charli Knott is the incoming batter ,this partnership added 29 runs but in the 17^th over it was Laura Harris that was cleaned bowled for 24 runs off 11 balls ,the Heat aren’t having any trouble with the Scorcher bowlers at all. The incoming batter is Brisbane Heat skipper Jess Jonassen, this partnership put on 32 runs to finish off the 20 over’s with the Heat ending up 5/197, the best batter for the Heat was Grace Harris who put on 54 runs off 33 balls .The Brisbane Heat had no trouble at all with the Scorchers bowling Alana King was the better bowler for the Scorchers taking 3/30 while Natalie Sciver-Brunt ended up taking 2 wickets.

Coming out to open bat for the Perth Scorchers is Beth Mooney and Lauren Winfield-Hill while the new ball was thrown to Jess Jonassen and Nicola Hancock opened from the other end ,the Scorcher openers added 15 runs to the total before Lauren Winfield-Hill was out caught off the bowling of Nicola Hancock for 15 runs off her 9 balls ,the Scorchers are now 1/15 ,coming out to join Beth Mooney is Chloe Piparo ,this partnership for 7 runs before Piparo was out caught by Charli Knott off the bowling of Georgia Voll for 6 runs off 6 balls ,the Scorchers are now 2/22.Coming out to join Beth Mooney is Natalie Sciver-Brunt ,this partnership lasted for 3 over’s before Beth Mooney went being caught by Voll off the bowling of Jess Jonassen for 18 runs of 16 balls ,the Scorchers are now 3/44 in the 6^th over ,The next batter to the crease is Sophie Devine ,this partnership in the next 2 over’s added 18 runs before Sophie Devine  going out being caught by Redmayne of the bowling of Georgia Voll for 13 runs of 9 balls ,the Scorchers are now 4/62 ,The new batter is Maddy Darke ,this partnership added 37 runs before Natalie Sciver-Brunt  was out going Lbw off the bowling of Jess Jonassen ,the Scorchers are now 5/99 in the 8^th over .The Scorchers are now in Deep trouble ,the new batter Piepa Cleary ,10 balls later Piepa Cleary is on her way back to the pavilion after being stumped by Redmayne off the bowling of Amelia Kerr for 2 runs off 5 balls ,the Scorchers are now 6/105 .Alana King is the new batter to the crease ,this pair only added 4 runs before Alana King was out caught by Sippel off the bowling of Georgia Voll for 2 runs off 6 balls ,the Scorchers are 7/109 in the 16th over ,Amy Edgar is the new batter ,this partnership didn’t last as Maddy Darke went down the wicket ,missed the ball and was out stumped for 16 runs off 20 balls, WA are now 8/110 in deep deep trouble ,Chloe Ainsworth came out to join Amy Edgar and this pair added 20 runs ,the Perh Scorchers ended up making 130 runs off their 30 over’s .The Brisbane Heat  absolutely smashed the Scorchers to win by 67 runs. Georgia Volt was the better of the Brisbane Heat bowlers picking up 4/19 in her 4 over’s ,Perth Scorchers Natalie Skiver-Brunt was the better batter for WA getting 36 runs off 27 balls .
