New South Wales made their way over the Nullabor to take on the Western Australia men in the Marsh Sheffield Shield match here at the WACA ,after beating the WA men in the one dayer WA will be wanting to turn the tables .The 2 skippers NSW Moises Henriques and WA Sam Whiteman made their out the centre for the toss and it was NSW that called it again and put WA into bat ,Coming out to open for WA is Cameron Bancroft and Sam Whiteman while the NSW opening bowlers are Jackson Bird and Chris Tremain .This opening partnership over the next 38 over’s added 107 runs to the total before Cameron Bancroft was out caught of the bowling of Jackson Bird for 42 runs off 110 balls ,WA are now 1/107 .Jayden Goodwin is the new batter to the crease ,unfortunately this partnership only added 6 runs to the total before Jayden Goodwin was out caught off the bowling of Jackson Bird for a Duck ,WA are now 2/113 .The next batter to the crease is Hilton Cartwright and this partnership over the next 13 over’s added 51 runs to the total before Hilton Cartwright was caught out of the bowling of Jack Edwards for 13 runs off 40 balls ,Western Australia are now 3/164 .Sam Fanning is the new batter to the crease ,this partnership only added 8 runs to the total before there was a misunderstanding and Sam Whiteman was run out for a well made 107 runs off 188 balls ,WA are now 4/172 .Teague Wyllie is the incoming batter to the crease and faced up to the next ball and was out lbw to Jack Edwards for a Duck, WA are now 5/172.Josh Philippe is the next batter and 5 balls later it was Sam Fanning that was heading back to the pavilion after being caught off the bowling of Jack Edwards for 4 runs off 21 balls ,WA are now 6/172 .Charlie Stobo is the next batter to the crease ,this partnership added 30 runs to the total before Charlie Stobo was out caught off the bowling of Liam Hatcher for 10 runs of 24 balls ,Western Australia are now 7/202 in the 70th over. Joel Paris is the next batter to the crease ,this partnership added 28 runs to the total before Joel Paris was out caught off the bowling of Chris Green for 6 runs off 24 balls ,WA are now 8/230 .Matthew Kelly is the new batter to the crease ,together with Josh Philippe this partnership added 26 runs to the total before Matthew Kelly was out caught off the bowling of Chris Green for 14 runs off 32 balls ,Western Australia are now 9/256 .Corey Rocchicioli is the new batter to the crease ,unfortunately he faced up to his first ball and was caught out off the bowling of Chris Green for a Duck, Western Australia are all out for 256 runs in over 88 .The best of the WA batters was the skipper Sam Whiteman who made 107 runs followed by Cam Bancroft ,the best of the NSW bowlers was Jackson Bird and Chris Green picking up 3 wickets a piece ,with Jack Edwards (2) and Liam Hatcher (1).

Jackson Bird is the next batter to the crease ,this partnership added 14 runs before Jackson Bird was out caught off the bowling of Charlie Stobo for 11 runs off 26 balls ,the Blues are now 8/244 .The new batter to the crease is Chris Tremain and together with Chris Green added 3 runs to the total before Chris Green is out caught off the bowling of Charlie Stobo for 19 runs off 75 balls ,NSW are now 9/247.Liam Hatcher is the last batter to the crease for the Blues ,this partnership lasted for 4 runs until Chris Tremain was out caught off the bowling of Corey Rocchicioli for 5 runs off 9 runs ,the Blues are all out for 251 runs.
Coming out in their 2 nd innings Western Australia are 5 runs ahead of the NSW Blues, Coming out to open the batting is Skipper Sam Whiteman and Cameron Bancroft ,while the NSW opening bowlers Jackson Bird and Chris Tremain took the new ball The WA openers over the next 18 over’s took the total to 51 before Sam Whiteman was cleaned bowled 27 runs off 68 balls ,WA are now 1/51.The next batter to the crease is Jayden Goodwin ,this partnership only added 5 runs before Jayden Goodwin was out caught off the bowling of Chris Green for 4 runs off 7 balls ,WA are now 2/56 .The new batter to the crease is Hilton Cartwright who with Cameron Bancroft took the total to 88 before Hilton Cartwright holed out to a ball from Chris Green for 17 runs hit off 55 balls ,WA are now 3/88 .Sam Fanning is the next batter to the crease ,3 over’s later it was Cameron Bancroft that holed out and was out off the bowling of Chris Tremain for a well made 36 runs off a 108 balls ,WA are now 4/90 in the 40th over . The best of the WA batters were the openers Sam Whiteman (27), Cameron Bancroft (36) and Corey Rocchicioli getting 28 runs .Chris Green was the best bowler for NSW in this 2nd innings picking up 6/86.
The NSW blues openers came out onto the ground needing to get 181 runs to win ,Blake Nikitaras and Ryan Hackney head out to the crease to face up to WA opening bowlers Joel Paris and Charlie Stobo .The 2 Blues openers slowly added to the total till in the 7th over when Ryan Hackney played a ball and was out caught off the bowling of Corey Rocchicioli for 2 runs off 16 balls ,NSW are 1/18 .The Next batter is Daniel Hughes and over the next 35 over’s this partnership added 99 runs ,unfortunately Blake Nikitaras was out caught off the bowling of Charlie Stobo for a well made 56 runs hit off 133 balls faced ,NSW are now 2/117 .
