       Match 30 of the Rebel  WBBL came to the Optus Stadium to see the Perth Scorchers and the Brisbane Heat do battle ,the Brisbane Heat won the toss and sent the Perth Scorchers into bat ,Scorcher captain Meg Lanning and Elyse Vinalli came out to face up to Heat bowler Sammy-jo Johnson  ,together these two batters gradually took the score to 54 before Villani was caught off the bowling of Haidee Birkett ,the scorchers were now 1/54 .The next batter to take centre was Amy Jones who was starting to see the ball hitting 2 4’s ,then she was caught and bowled off the bowling of Jemma Barsby  for 14 runs .At 2/71 the next batter to come  out was Nicole Bolton who made a brief appearance before she was caught in front and was LBW to Jemma Barsby  for a duck (0).At 3/72 Heather Graham came out and with Meg Lanning took the score to 102 before HG was caught off the bowling of Haidee Birket ,Scorchers were now 4/102 .Lauren Ebsary was the next batsmen to take centre ,then after adding to the score Meg Lanning was caught short and given run out for 70 ,The score was now 5/129 Kate Cross came out with 1.5 overs remaining ,together they added a further 7 runs ,the Perth Scorchers were all out for 136 runs off their 30 overs ,Best bowler for the Heat was Haidee Birkett who took 3/19.

         Coming out to open for the Heat was Grace Harris and Beth Mooney ,Hayleigh Brennan was given the new ball ,the Brisbane Heat openers steadily put together a partnership of 58 well made runs ,then Mooney was out caught and bowled by King ,the Heat 1/58.The new batter to come out was Sammy-jo Johnson who also started to flash the bat and together the pair added 13 runs before Grace Harris was caught off the bowling of Taneale Peschel for 27 runs ,the heat were now  2/71 .Incoming batter was Kirby Short who made 1 run before being caught in front (LBW) of the bowling of Nicole Bolton,the Heat were now 3/74.The incoming batter was Jess Jonnasen who with Johnson added 23 runs over the next 4 overs before Sammy-jo Johnson was caught of the bowling of Nicole Bolton for 17 runs ,the Heat were now 5/125.Lauren Harris came out and joined Jess Jonassen who took the heat over the line with 5 wickets to spare,Harris remained 6 not out with Jess Jonassen on 28 not out.

Player of the match went to Brisbane Heat bowler Haidee Birkett.
