Western  Warriors vs N S W Blues .

                 Match 2 of the JPL One day series saw the Western Warriors welcome the NSW Blues to the WACA ,The Blues won the toss and elected to bat . With the score at 0/10 Warriors Bowler Joel Paris was the first to take the scalp of Ryan Gibson for 4 ,next batsman to take centre was Kurtis Patterson ,after putting on 22 runs Daniel Hughes was bowled for 12 off Joel Paris ,Moisies Henriques was the next batsmen to come out but with the score on 40 Moises Henriques on 5 he was caught by Cartwright off the bowling of Cameron Green the blues were now 3/40 .Nick Larkin came out took centre then 16 runs later Kurtis Patterson departed for 23 runs ,NSW were now 4/56 .Jack Edwards came to the crease and with Nick Larkin started to put together a good partnership when Jack Edwards was clean bowled for 32 ,the score was now 5/107 .Jay Lenton was the next batsmen to the crease 2 balls later he was caught behind by Inglis of the bowling of Jyhe Richardson ,NSW are now 6/107.Daniel Sams was the next batsmen out to the crease ,together with Nick Larkin the pair put on another 38 runs before Nick Larkin was caught behind by Josh Inglis off the bowling of Andrew Tye for 36 ,NSW now 7/145.Steve O’Keefe came out and joined Daniel Sams ,the pair added just 28 runs before O’Keefe headed back to the rooms after being caught by Jonathan Wells for 9 runs ,NSW now 8/173 .The new batsman in was Sean Abbott  and together with Sams they took the score to 200 before the inform Daniel Sams on 62 was caught behind of the bowling of Cameron Green ,NSW now 9/200 .Mickey Edwards came out and joined Sean Abbott the partnership didn’t last long before Sean Abbott was caught behind for 7 of the bowling of Cameron Green,the Blues are all out for 204 of 43.4 overs ,Mickey Edwards remained 1 not out.Andrew Tye bowled well to get 3/30 of 7 overs ,Cameron Green took 3/44 of 8.4 overs ,while Paris and Richardson each took 2 wichets .


     The Western Warriors came out to chase down 204 runs off their 50 overs ,opening the batting Josh Phillipe and Josh Inglis  came out to bat but with the score on 8 Josh Inglis was caught by Edwards of the bowling of Daniel Sams for 5 runs.Sam Whiteman came out and when the pair added 2 runs Whiteman was caught Gibson of the bowling of Daniel Sams ,Warriors were now 2/9 and not looking good .The next batsman to the crease was Hilton Cartwright who together with Josh Phillipe took the score to 67 before Cartwright was caught by Hughes of the bowling of Edwards for 20 runs.Jonathan Wells came out to join Josh Phillipe who was playing well then with the score on 95 Phillipe was caught by Jay Lenton of the bowling of Daniel Sams for 59 runs.Warriors were now 4/95.The next batsman out to the crease was Ashton Agar then with the score at 5/100 Wells was caught by Jay Lenton of the bowling of Moises Henriques for 13 runs.Ashton Turner came out to join Ashton Agar and together put together a  partnership of 96 runs which pretty much gaurateed a win ,then on 196 Ashton Agar played at a ball from Steve O’Keefe and was caught  by Jay Lenton for 28 runs,Cameron Green was the next batsman to come out and join Ashton Turner and together the pair took the Warriors total  to 206 off 32.2 overs and got the win ,Ashton Turner remained 70 not out while Cameron Green remained 8 not out .For the Blues Daniel Sams took 3 wickets while Mickey Edwards ,Steve O’Keefe and Moises Henriques each took a wicket . Man of the match went to Andrew Tye.
