The Adelaide Strikers came to Lilac Hill to battle with the home team the Perth Scorchers ,the skippers Tahlia McGrath and Sophie Devine made their way out to the centre for the batflip ,it was Scorcher captain Sophie Devine that called it and elected to bat sending the Adelaide Strikers into the field .Coming out to open for the Scorchers its Sophie Devine and Beth Mooney who are facing up to Strikers openers Megan Schutt and Darcie Brown ,the Scorcher batters slowly took the score to 59 before Sophie Devine was caught out of her crease and was out stumped off the bowling Dane Van Niekerk ,the Scorchers are now 1/59 in the 9^th over ,the new batter is Chamari Athapaththu who makes her way out to join Beth Mooney ,unfortunately 5 balls later it was Beth Mooney heading back to the pavilion after being caught off the bowling of Amanda –Jade Wellington for 36 runs ,the Scorchers are now 2/63.The incoming batter is Marizanne Kapp ,this partnership 3 over’s before Marizanne Kapp was out after being cleaned bowled by Tahlia McGrath for 2 runs.The Scorchers are 3/73, Heather Graham is the new batter to the crease and together with Charmari Athapaththu this partnership added 30 runs before Charmari Athapaththu was out caught of the bowling of Amanda – Jade Wellington for 20 runs ,the Scorchers are now 4/93.The next batter to the crease is Alana King and over the next 3 over’s this pair took the total to 111 before Heather Graham was out caught off the bowling of Megan Schutt for 22 runs ,the Scorchers are now 5/111 with 5 balls left in the innings ,at the end of the last over the Scorchers are 5/121.Beth Mooney top scored with 36 while Sophie Devine (20) ,Chamari Athapaththu (20) and HG (22) .Amanda-Jade Wellington picked up 2 wickets ,while Megan Schutt,Tahlia McGrath and Dane Van Kiekerk each got a wicket a piece.

    Coming out to open for the Strikers is Dan Van Kiekerk and Katie Mack while the new ball was thrown to Marizanne Kapp and Charmari Athapaththu ,this partnership lasted for 2 over’s before Dane Van Niekerk was out caught off the bowling of Marizanne Kapp for 10 runs ,the Adelaide Strikers are now 1/12.The next batter is Laura Wolvaart ,together this  partnership added 7 runs before Laura Wolvaart was out caught of the bowling of Lisa Griffin ,the Strikers are now 2/19,the next batter is the skipper Tahlia McGrath and together this pair took the total to 48 before Tahlia McGrath was making her way back to the pavilion out caught off the bowling of Taneale Peschel for 17 runs ,the Adelaide Strikers are now 3/48 .Bridgett Paterson is the next batter to make her way out to the centre ,this partnership added 16 runs before Katie Mack misjudged a ball and was clean bowled  for 24 runs off the bowling of Lily Mills ,the Strikers are now 4/64 11^th over .Madeline Penna is the next batter to walk out to the centre ,3 balls later and it was Madeline Penna making her way back to the pavilion after being run out for a Duck ,the Strikers are now 5/64 in the 12^th over ,the Strikers need 38 runs in the next 8 over’s to win. Amanda-Jade Wellington is the incoming batter to join Bridget Patterson ,this partnership only lasted for 4 balls before Bridget Patterson was out caught off the bowling of Heather Graham for 12 runs,the Strikers are now 6/84.The next batter is Tegan McPharlin ,this partnership lasted for 4 balls before Bridget Patterson was out caught off the bowling of Heather Graham ,the Strikers are now 7/88.Sarah Coyte is the next batter and together with Tegan McPharlin took the total to 121.

The teams are drawn so now its into a Super Over with each team getting 1 over each .The Adelaide Strikers are the first team to bat ,coming out to open is Tahlia McGrath and Laura Wolvaardt ,on the 4^th ball it was Laura Wolvaart that was run out for 6 runs ,the Strikers are now 1/6,the new batter is Sarah Coyte ,this pair added 3 runs to the total before Tahlia McGrath was run out for 3,the Strikers total got 9 runs .Now its the Scorchers openers Sophie Devine and Beth Mooney who are coming out to face up to Strikers opener Megan Schutt ,Sophie Devine is on strike ,the first ball Devine put over the fence for 6 ,the Scorchers only need ind another 4 runs to win ,Megan Schutt ran in again and this ball went over the fence as well ,the Perth Scorchers win by 3 runs in the Super Over.
