     The 2 captains Kiwi Sophie Devine and Aussie skipper Meg Lanning made their way to the centre for the toss ,KIWI skipper Sophie Devine called it and put the Australian team into bat .The two Aussie openers Alyssa Healy and Beth Mooney made their way out to centre to face up to New Zealand opening bowlers Hayley Jensen and Amanda Peterson .The Aussie opening bats took the score to 20 before Alyssa Healy played at a shot and was out caught by Kerr off the bowling of Hayley Jensen  ,the Aussies are now 1/20 in the 3^rd over ,the next batter to make her way out to take centre is Australian skipper Meg Lannng  ,over the 5 overs this partnership put on 32 runs before the Aussie skipper holed out to Tahuhu off the bowling of Anna Peterson for 21 runs the Aussies are now 2/52 in the seventh over ,the incoming batter is Ashleigh Gardner ,these two batters put on 52 runs partnership before Ashleigh Garner was cleaned bowled for 20 runs off the bowling of Leigh Kasperek ,the Aussies are now 3/104 in the fourteenth over .The next batter to come out and take centre is Ellyse Perry this partnership lasted for 3 overs before opening bat Beth Mooney played at a ball and out caught by Bates off the bowling of Anna Peterson for a well made 60 runs ,the Aussies are now 4/122 in the seventeenth over .The next batter to the crease is Rachael Haynes ,together with Perry the pair added 32 runs in 2 overs before Ellyse Perry was out bowled for 21 runs ,the Aussies are now 5/154 in the nineteenth over ,the new batter is Nicola Carey who saw the out the final balls to take the Australian total to 5/155 of their 20 overs ,Beth Mooney was the stand out batter for the Aussies with her 60 run ,Lanning (21), Gardner(20),Perry (21)and Haynes (19) all contributed to the total .The best of the New Zealand bowlers were Anna Peterson who took 2 wickets off her 4 overs ,with Kerr,Jensen and Kasperek each getting a wicket a piece .

       The New Zealnd openers Rachel Priest and skipper Sophie Devine made their way out to the centre to face up to Australian opening bowlers Jess Jonassen and Georgia Wareham ,the Kiwi openering bats took the total to 25 runs in the third over before Rachel Priest played at a ball and missed and was given out LBW off the bowling of Jess Jonassen for 17 runs ,the Kiwis are now 1/25 .The next batter to make her way out to the centre is Suzie Bates who with skipper Sophie Devine took the total to 53 runs before Suzie Bates played at a ball and missed was out LBW for 14 runs in the eighth over ,the Kiwis are now 2/53 .Maddy Green is the new batter  to come out and join skipper Sophie Devine ,this pair over the next 5 overs took the total to 81 runs before Sophie Devine went down the pitch to play at a ball and missed and out stumped by Healey off the bowling of Georgia Wareham for 31 runs ,the Kiwis are now 3/ 81 in the fourteenth over .Katy Martin is the incoming batter to join Maddy Green together this partnership added 27 runs before Maddy Green went down the wicket to play at a ball and missed and Aussie keeper got her second stumping off the bowling of Georgia Wareham for 28 runs ,the Kiwis are now 4/108 in the fifteenth over .Amelia Kerr is the incoming batter ,this partnership lasted 1 over before Amelia Kerr was cleaned bowled by Megan Schutt for 2 runs ,the Kiwis are now 5/115 in the seventeenth over .The New Zealanders need 40 runs to draw or 41 runs to win ,the incoming batter is Hayley Jensen who played at a ball and was out caught by Carey of the bowling of Megan Schutt for a golden DUCK ,the Kiwis are now 6/115.The next batter to the crease is Anna Peterson who with Katy Martin added 14 runs to the Kiwi total to take it to 129 runs before Anna Petersen was out bowled for 9 runs ,the Kiwis are now 7/129 with just under 2 overs left to play the Kiwis need 26 runs to draw or 27 runs to win ,Leigh Kasperek came out to join Katy Martin and it came down to the last nail biting over but the Aussies held on to take the win and move into the semi final .Katy Martin was the best batter for New Zealand hitting 37 not out while Sophie Devine and Maddy Green contiruted with 31 and 28 runs .Aussie bowlers Georgia Wareham 2/17 and Megun Schutt 3/28 were the pick of the Australian bowlers .
