Perth Scorchers  vs  Sydney Sixers

In match # 30 of the KFC BBL/10  21,608 cricket fans came to see  top of the table Sydney Sixers take on the Perth Scorchers who sit second bottom on the ladder ,Scorcher Captain Ashton Turner along with Dan Hughes make their way out for the bat flip ,Sixers skipper Dan Hughes called it and decided to take the ball and put the Scorchers into bat.Coming out to open for the Perth Scorchers are Jason Roy and Liam Livingstone ,taking the new ball for the Sydney Sixers is Jackson Bird .The Scorchers opening pair added 22 runs in the first 3 overs then in the fourth over Liam Livingstone mis timed a shot and was caught by Jordan Silk off the bowling of Stephen O’Keefe for 16 runs ,the Scorchers are 1/23 .The incoming Scorcher is in form batter Colin Munro who with Jason Roy  over the next 8 overs added 65 runs for their partnership ,Colin Munro had just brought up his 50 when he was caught by Jackson Bird off the bowling of Lloyd Pope for 50 ,the Perth Scorchers are now 2/88 in the 12 th over ,wicket keeper Josh Inglis is the new batter to take strike ,together they took the score to 99 before Jason Roy was caught by Jack Edwards off the bowling of Lloyd Pope for 27 runs,the Scorchers are now 3/99 in the 14 th over .Mitch Marsh is the new batter to make his way out to the crease ,four overs later Josh Inglis is making his way back to the dug out after being caught by Jordan Silk of the bowling of Lloyd Pope for 20 runs ,Scorchers are now 4/156 .Scorcher skipper Ashton Turner is the new batter to come out and join Mitch Marsh ,over the remaining 2 overs this partnership added 27 runs to the total to take the Perth Scorchers to 183 runs after their 20 overs ,Sixers bowlers Stephen O’Keefe and Lloyd Pope each picked up 2 wickets apiece ,while Perth Scorcher batsman Mitch Marsh top scored with a quick 57 runs off 27 balls.

Sydney Sixer batters Josh Philippe and Jack Edwards came out to open ,Scorcher bowler Jhye Richardson was thrown the new ball ,this pair added 9 runs before Josh Philippe was caught by Mitch Marsh off the bowling of Jason Brehendorff for 5 runs ,the Sydney Strikers are now 1/9 . James Vince is the incoming batter who with Jack Edwards added 1 run before James Vince was out caught behind off the bowling of Jhye Richardson for a duck ,the Sixers are now 2/10 ,Sixers skipper Dan Hughes is the new batter to come to the crease ,together these 2 put the Sixers back on track and were starting to look dangerous before Dan Hughes was out caught off the bowling of Andrew Tye for 14 runs ,the Sixers are now 3/44 in the eigth over.The next batter to the crease is Jordan Silk ,this partnership lasted 4 balls before Jordan Silk was caught by Jhye Richardson  of the bowling of Mitch Marsh for a duck,the Sixers are now 4/47 .Dan Christian is the incoming batter to join Jack Edwards ,this partnership lasted 5 balls before Dan Christian was caught by Ashton Turner off the bowling of Andrew Tye for a duck,the Sydney Sixers are now 5/52 in the ninth over .Coming out to join Jack Edwards is Carlos Brathwaite who only lasted 6 balls before he was caught by Jason Roy off the bowling of Jhye Richardson ,the Sixers are now in deep trouble being 6/58 tenth over,Stephen O’Keefe is the new batter to take centre and join Jack Edwards ,the partnership added 16 runs before Jack Edwards was caught by Jason Roy off the bowling of Fawad Ahmed for a well made 44 runs,the sixers are now 7/74 .Jackson Bird is the incoming batter to join Stephen O’Keefe ,together they added 13 runs to the total before Stephen O’Keefe was clean bowled by Andrew Tye ,the Sixers are now 8/87 in the fifteenth over .Jake Ball is the incoming batter to join Jackson Bird , the Sixers are now going to need a miracle to win ,eight balls later and Jake Ball was on his way after having his middle stump knocked out of the ground by Jhye Richardson for 4 runs ,the Sixers are now 9/92 ,Lloyd Pope is the incoming batter to join Jackson Bird ,this partnership lasted only 6 balls before Lloyd Pope was out caught and bowled to Andrew Tye for a duck ,the Sydney Sixers are all out for 97 runs in the 16.4 overs .

Jack Edwards made 44 runs and was the stand out batter for the Sixers ,while Scorcher bowler Andrew Tye took 4/20 off his 3.4 overs,with Jhye Richardson backing up well getting 3/15 off his 4 overs .The Perth Scorchers have won match # 30 by  86 runs .
