Melbourne Renegades vs Perth Scorchers

           Well  here in Perth at the WACA ,the suns shining ,under the clear blue skies the two skippers Sophie Molineux and Sophie Devine made their way out to the centre for the batflip and it was Sophie Devine that called it and elected to put Perth Scorchers to bat .Coming out to open for the Scorchers is Beth Mooney and Sophie Devine  while Sophie Molineux took the new ball .These 2 batters made their intentions from the start and attacked the Renegades bowlers to add runs freely ,this partnership over 16 overs took the total to 165 before Sophie Devine was out caught off the bowling of Courtney webb for a well made 72 runs off 49 balls ,the Scorhers are now 1/165 .Heather Graham is the incoming batter to come out and join Beth Mooney ,unfortunately this partnership only lasted for 7 balls before Heather Graham was  out  caught of the bowling of Bhullar for 7 runs ,the Scorchers are now 2/177 .Chamari Athapaththu is the next batter to come and join Beth Mooney and togther this pair added another 17 runs to the total to take it to 194 runs for the Scorchers 20 over’s .Beth Mooney batted thru’ the 20 over’s to get her 101 not out off 63 balls .Renegades bowlers Harmanpreet and Courtney Webb each took a wicket .

         The Renegade opening batters Jeminah Rodriques and Josie Dooley made their way out to the centre to face up to Scorcher opening bowler Marizanne Kapp ,the pair added 15 runs before Josie Dooley was out caught of the bowling of Lilly Mills for 6 runs ,the Renegades are now 1/15 ,the next batter to make their way out is Courtney Webb ,this partnership only lasted 2 balls before Jeminah Rodriques was out caught of the bowling of Lily Mills for 9 runs .The Renegades are 2/17 in the 3^rd over .Harmanpreet Kaur is the next batter to come out and join Courtney Webb  and together over the next 7 over’s put on a 42 run partnership before Harmanpreet Kaur went LBW  to Alana King for 13 runs .Jess Dffin is the new batter to come out and join Webb  ,these two batters  put on a 42 run partnership to take the total to 101 before Jess Duffin was out clean bowled by Lliy Mills for 23 runs ,the Melbourne Renegades are now 4/101.Renegades skipper Sohie Molinuex is the next batter to come out to the centre ,this partnership only lasted 2 balls before Courtney Webb was out for 46 well made runs after being caught off the bowling of Lily Mills ,the Renegades are now 5/102 in the 15^th over .With only 5 over’s left and 95 runs to get the Renegades will need some luck .The next batter to come out and join the skipper is Carly Leeson ,this partnership only lasted 1 ball before Carly Leeson was out caught of the bowling off Taneale Peschel  for 4 runs ,the Renegades are now 6/106 in the 16^th over and in deep trouble .The next batter to come out is Eve Jones and together with skipper put on a 48 run partnership to take he Renegades  to 154 runs for their 20 over’s .Courtney Webb was the better batter getting her 46 runs off 35 balls .Scorcher bowler Lily Mills bowled well to get 4/25 off 3 over’s .

Player of the match went to Scorcher Beth Mooney for her 101 not out.
