             BBL KFC match 38 came to Optus Stadium where the Perth Scorchers and the Melbourne Stars will do battle ,Skippers Scorcher Mitchell Marsh and Stars Glenn Maxwell came out to the centre for the Bat Flip ,it was Mitchell Marsh who called it and elected to bat and elected to bat and put the Stars out in the field .Scorcher opening pair Liam Livingstone and Josh Inglis made their way to the crease with the new ball being thrown to Daniel Worrall with Nathan Coulter-Nile coming on from the other end ,in the third ball Coulter-Nile had Livingstone caught for 4 runs off his 5 balls ,the Scorchers are now 1/10,the new batter coming out is Cameron Green  who with Josh Inglis took the total to 39 before there was a misunderstanding between the batters and Green was run out for 4 runs off his 5 balls ,Scorchers are now 2/39 in the fourth over .Skipper Mitchell Marsh is the new batter to join Josh Inglis ,this partnership lasted 7 balls before Josh Inglis was caught off the bowling of Nathan Coulter-Nile for a well made 37 runs from 19 balls ,the Scorchers are now 3/48 with the batter Cameron Bancroft made his way out the crease ,this partnership lasted for two and a half overs before Mitchell Marsh was caught off the bowling of Jackson Coleman for 7 runs of 8 balls ,the Scorchers are 4/58 and in deep trouble .Tim David is the new batter to join Cameron Bancroft ,this partnership lasted 10 balls before Tim David was caught off the bowling of Jackson Coleman for 3 runs of 5 balls ,the Scorchers are now 5/64 in the ninth over .New comer Jaron Morgan is the next batter to take centre ,5 balls later he was clean bowled for 1 run off the bowling of Jackson Coleman ,the Scorchers are now 6/68 and in deep deep trouble ,bowler Chris Jordan is the new batter to come and join Cameron Bancroft ,3 runs were added to the total before Cameron Bancroft was run out for 10 runs off 19 balls ,the Scorchers are now 7/76 in the eleventh over .Bowler Jhye Richardson  is the new batter to come out and join Chris Jordan who was caught 5 balls later for 5 runs off 10 balls ,the Scorchers are now 8/79 ,incoming batter is Fawad Ahmed ,Jhye Richardson faced up to Sandeep Lamichhane and bowled around his legs for 1 run off 2 balls ,the Scorchers are now 9/79 in the twelvelth over ,Joel Paris is the next batter to come out and join Fawad Ahmed  ,this partnership lasted 6 balls before Fawad Ahmed was bowled by Haris Rauf,the Scorchers are all out for 86 runs off 13.5 overs ,two batters managed to make it to double figures ,Josh Inglis was the highest run scorer for the Scorchers with 37 runs while Cameron Bancroft got 10 runs ,Jackson Coleman was the best of the Melbourne Stars taking 3/16 off 3 overs.

              Melbourne Star openers Hilton Cartwright and Marcus Stoinis made there way out to take centre ,the Stars are chasing 87 runs for victory ,just over 4 runs an over .The new Scorcher ball was thrown to Jhye Richardson ,the Star openers started of slowly being 0/43 off 7 overs ,next over Mitch Marsh came on as a bowler change and had Hilton Cartwright c + bowled for 19 runs off 25 balls ,the Stars are now 1/47 .The new batter is Ben Dunk who with Marcus Stoinis added just 9 runs before Ben Dunk was caught behind of the bowling of Fawad Ahmed for 8 runs of 6 balls ,the Stars are 2/56 ,new batter coming out is Seb Goth who with Marcus Stoinis had little trouble in getting the 31 runs required to win ,Marcus Stoinis ended up with 39 runs of his 31 balls (including 6- 4’S) while Seb Goth also remained not out with 14 runs from 10 balls .Jackson Coleman  was player of the match .The Melbourne Stars comletely outplayed the Perth Scorchers and deserved the win.
