       The Queensland Bulls came to the WACA already assured a place in the Marsh Sheffield Cup semi finals ,where as Western Australia had only won 2 matches from the 8 played ,so they were playing to salvage some pride .Shaun Marsh and Usman Khawaja made their way out for the toss ,Usman Khawaja called it and sent the West Aussies into to bat in the near perfect weather conditions  .Openers Sam Whiteman and Jake Carder made their way out ,Michael Neser the Queensland quick was thrown the new  ball with fellow quick Jack Wildermuth opening from the other end ,the WA batters made a slow start  with runs being steadily added  until the 11th over when Jake Carder played at a ball off Michael Neser and was caught for 26 runs ,WA are now 1/34.The new batter to the crease is Skipper Shaun Marsh and over the next 29 overs with Sam Whiteman took the total to 110 before Shaun Marsh was caught for 41 off the bowling of Jack Wildermuth ,WA are now 2/110 .Incoming batter is Marcus Stionis who with Sam Whiteman took the total to 129 before Stionis was caught of the bowling of Cameron Gannon for 6 runs ,WA are now 3/129 ,next batter to come out is Cameron Green .Sam Whiteman faced up to a ball from Michael Neser and was caught for a well made 51 runs ,WA are now 4/129 .Josh Philippe is the incoming batter who with Cameron Green added 40 runs in the next 10 overs to take the score to 169 before Cameron Green was caught off the bowling of Michael Neser for 22 runs ,WA are now 5/169 ,Josh Inglis is the next batter to make his way out ,this partnership only lasted 2 overs before Josh Inglis was caught off the bowling of Michael Neser for 1 run ,WA are now 6/171 and are struggling .Incoming batter is Aaron Hardie and together with Josh Philippe took the total to 185 before Josh Philippe was caught off the bowling of Cameron Gannon for 21 runs ,WA are now 7/179 .Matthew  Kelly made his way out to join Aaron Hardie ,unfortunately this partnership lasted only 2 overs adding 6 runs before Matthew Kelly was caught off the bowling of Cameron Gannon for 1 run ,WA are now  8/185.The next batter is Josh Nicholas who over the next 4 overs added 24 runs until Aaron Hardie was caught off the bowling of Cameron Gannon for 20 runs ,WA are now 9/209 .David Moody is the next batter to take centre and with Josh Nicolas put togther a well made partnership  of 68 much needed runs ,unfortunately there was a mix up and Josh Nicholas was run out  for a well made 44 runs ,WA are all out for 277 of 86.2 overs ,David Moody remained not out on 31 runs .Queensland bowlers Michael Neser and Cameron Gannon each took 4 wickets.

            Now it was the Queensland Bulls openers Bryce Street and Joe Burns  to put on the pads  and make their way out to face up to WA bowlers Matthew Kelly and David Moody .The Queensland openers  had little trouble with the WA bowlers as the first wicket fell in the 59th over with the score at 171,Joe Burns was caught and bowled for 93 runs off the bowling of Matthew Kelly ,the Bulls are 1/171 ,the new batter to the crease is Nathan McSweeney  who with opener Bryce Street added on 12 runs to the total before Nathan McSweeney  was caught off the bowling of David Moody for 11 runs ,the Bulls are 2/183  ,next batter to the crease is skipper Usman Khawaja ,this partnership lasted 10 overs before Usman Khawaja was caught of the bowling of Aaron Hardie for 9 runs,the Bulls are 3/210. Sam Healett is the incoming batter who comes out to join Bryce Street this pair put on 59 runs before Bryce Street was caught off the bowling of Matthew Kelly for a well made 115 runs  off 281 balls ,the Bulls are now 4/269 .Jack Wildermuth is the incoming batter who with Sam Heazlett over the next 11 overs  added 33  runs  before Sam Heazlett was caught off the bowling of Matthew Kelly for 34 runs ,the Bulls are now 5/302.Jimmy Peirson is the next batter to take centre  and join Jack Wildermuth ,this partnership added 87 runs to the total before Jimmy Peirson was bowled by Josh Nicholas for 39 runs ,the Bulls are now 6/389 .Michael Neser is the new batter and with Jack Wildermuth added 45 runs before Jack Wildermuth was caught off the bowling of Josh Nicholas for 80 well made runs ,the Bulls are 7/434 , Cameron Gannon is the next batter to take strike and who with Michael Neser put on a 40 run partnership to take the total to 474 before Michael Neser was cleaned bowled by Matthew Kelly for 37 runs ,theBulls are now 8/474 .New batter to the crease is Mark Steketee  ,this partnership only lasted 1 over before Cameron Gannon was out caught and bowled to Jake Carder for 20 runs ,the Queensland Bulls are 9/476 .Mitchell Swepson is the next batter to come out ,with Mark Steketeee took the total to 496 before Mark Steketeee was out caught off the bowling of Matthew Kelly for 9 runs ,Queensland are all out for 496 .Matthew Kelly took 5 wickets off his 31 overs in the Bulls first innings .The Queensland batters definately had the better of the WA bowlers  and didn’t look in any trouble.

           The Western Australia batters came out looking at making 219 runs to avoid an outright defeat ,openers Sam Whiteman and Jake Carder made their way out to face up to Michael Neser and Jack Wildermuth ,after the pair faced 12 overs Jake Carder played at a shot and was caught off the bowling of Cameron Gannon for 31 runs ,WA are 1/45 ,next batter to make his way out is skipper Shaun Marsh who with Sam Whiteman batted the next 13 overs to add 36 runs to the total before Shaun Marsh  went Lbw off the bowling of  Michael Neser for 20 runs ,WA are 2/81 .Marcus Stionis is the new batter who with Sam Whiteman put on 16 runs to take the total to 97 when Stionis went Lbw to Mark Steketee  for 9 runs ,WA are now 3/97,Cameron Green  is the incoming batter and over the following 18 overs put together a partnership with Sam Whiteman of 47 runs,unfortunately Cameron Green played at a loose ball and was caught off the of Mark Steketee ,WA are 4/144.New batter to take centre is Josh Philippe this partnership only lasted a few overs before Josh Philippe was caught for 2 runs off the bowling of Cameron Gannon  ,WA are 5/159,Josh Inglis is the incoming batter  and he too only lasted 2 overs before he was caught off the bowling of Michael Neser for a Duck (0) ,WA are now 6/162 .Aaron Hardie came out to take centre and together with Sam  Whiteman batted the next 35 overs with Sam Whiteman reaching his centuryand taking WA past the Qld total ,when WA were on 252  Sam Whiteman played at a ball and was caught off the bowling of Jack Wildermuth for 115 ,WA are now 7/252 .Matthew Kelly made his way out to join Aaron Hardie and over the next 17 overs added  49 runs ,Matthew Kelly played at a ball from Mitchell Swepson and missed and was cleaned bowled for 13 runs ,WA are now 8/303.Josh Nicolas came to the crease to join Aaron Hardie unfortunately Josh Nicolas played at a ball and was caught off the bowling of Cameron Gannon ,WA are 9/316 ,incoming batter is David Moody and with Aaron Hardie took the total to 347 ,during the partnership Aaron Hardie made his century ,David Moody played at a ball and was caught off the bowling of Michael Neser.Sam Whiteman and Aaron Hardie batted well which showed as they got their centuries .The best of the Bull bowlers were Michael Neser and Cameron Gannon who picked up 3 wickets a piece .

                In the Queensland  Bulls 2nd innings they needed 129 runs to take the points , openers Usman Khawaja and Sam Healett ,on the second ball of the innings Usman Khawaja was  C + B off a ball from Matthew Kelly for 2 runs ,the Bulls are 1 /2 ,Joe Burns is the incoming batter and 12 balls later he was heading back to the pavillion after being caught off the bowling of Matthew Kelly  for 12 runs ,the Bulls are 2/ 15 in the second over .Jack Wildermuth made his way out to join Sam Heazlett ,this partnership added 1 run before Sam Heazlett was caught of the bowling of Josh Nicolas for 2 runs ,the Bulls are 3/16,the next batter to come in is Bryce Street and 2 overs later he was heading back to the pavillion after being caught off a ball from Josh Nicolas  for 2 runs ,the Bulls are 4/18 .The new batter to come out and join Jack Wildermuth is Jimmy Pierson  and together they added 24 runs before Jack Wildermuth was cleaned bowled by Matthew Kelly  for 8 runs ,the Bulls are 5/42 .Incoming batter is Nathan McSweeney and with Jimmy Pierson took the total to 54 when stumps was called .Again Matthew Kelly bowled well to get 3 0f the 5 wickets in the Qld Bulls 2 nd innings.

                                                                              The match ended in a draw..
